The Edge of the Wold

Morning wash

This little chap is having his pre-breakfast wash from Mum. If there is time later I may add a couple more to Flickr as the mother and son interactions were so very endearing. I didn't want to venture too close, since before I reached the little herd, two of the "teenagers" were having a jousting match.

Thank you for all the kind comments on yesterday's blip, they were much appreciated. Yesterday was a day for reflecting, and looking for the good.

Gus has had three good walks today. Over lunch he had a romp over the Helm with Rowan. They did play for a while, then Rowan got bored and Gus focussed on rounding him up. We do think that Gus is a reject sheepdog, he has got the right idea when it comes to herding, but he has no interest in sheep. A bit of a disadvantage in a farm dog, a great advantage in his new life as a domestic dog.
