Pulmonaria

The intensity of this blue in the shade of the hedge by our gate always makes me stop for a moment. The brightness of the yellow spring flowers - celandine, primula, jonquils, daffodils, forsythia - is enormously cheering, but I think it is only the Pulmonaria that holds me.
