Woodland Mono

It was a bright sunny morning at Tyninghame this morning and I was not sure that the camera would cope with the heavy woodland shadow and the the brighter, lighter parts of the image. One of the new features that has recently been introduced in Lightroom in the selective adjustment section is a filter which fairly accurately selects the sky areas in your photos. If you use these to darken down the highlight areas significantly you can then brighten the image overall and retain detail throughout the image. I decided to try a mono version and felt this was more effective.
