Always the First

The large-flowered pink-sorrel aka pink wood sorrel Oxalis debilis, along with our native wild violets, are beginning to put forth their first tentative flowers. This perennial,  edible, ground growing plant reminds me of clover because of the shape of it's three leaves but isn't related. It originally hails from South America and can now be found on all continents except Antarctica. (and I'm betting that it's working on that too)
