Fresh New Growth

No rain today so the dogs and I had a dry walk this morning - apart from all the puddles in the ruts…so they got wet feet. 

It was cool, but the biting wind of the past few days had lessened which made things a little more pleasant. 

Walking home, the dogs suddenly veered off into the hedgerow - maybe a squirrel, or deer scent - who knows. As they are always on leads I had to follow.. anyway it presented me with a blip opportunity! There were quite a few clumps of these new leaves poking up through the leaf litter - and I quite liked this little group. Not sure what it is, maybe arum? 

Our daughter and eldest granddaughter came to collect the dogs after lunch…and we were regaled with tales of their adventures at Legoland…sounds like they had a wonderful time.

House is very quiet now, solo walking again from tomorrow!!
