Mini Irises

A bright sunny day

A quiet day but a visit to the Nurse to check Blood Pressure and to a take blood sample. This was to check for any adverse effects of a new heart drug, which has been used for years for those with Diabetes but had been found to have benefits for the heart. So far so good.

Just outside our front door I noticed these little mini Irises bringing some welcome colour - in February. I have read that flowers are about a month ahead of normal, which doesn’t surprise me, given the weather we have had this year.
