Navigating the Sea of Life

I wrapped a birthday present and wrote a card for my grandson's birthday which is in a few weeks' time.

I saw this card which somehow appealed to me with the hope that it will suit a young man of nearly 19.  I had the feeling that the image would inspire my words. This is what I wrote:
"May the sun often shine down on you as you navigate the sea of life!"
