At least this one chose a slightly warmer day to arrive.
We went to visit an old friend and colleague who is no longer able to look after himself at home. He is happy enough living in a "residential care home". It's a converted baronial hall sort of building, seems both well run and comfortable, and is doubtless expensive.
I just hope to god that I never have to live like that.
As my mother in law, well into her 80's, used to say, "I don't want to go in there with all those old people".
And what's all that got to do with today's blip? - It was taken just outside the window of his ground floor room.
