Terrible cop out!
The planned blip failed completely so this is something of an emergency stand-in.
I went out to shoot the Eleanor Cross which is a monument that marks one of the places that the body of Eleanor of Castille rested on its way to London. It is now in the paved shopping centre in what would once have been the village of Waltham but is now part of the uninterupted fairy ring of tarmac and concrete that has spread out from London. I even got the the Four Swannes sign which shows what was once the beginning of the high street. It rained, not heavily but enough to leave great splodges on the filter and lens - unrescuable >80(
This is a carved mallard duck tha sits on my dresser, her mate sits at the other end. It's one of a number if snaps I took earlier today to demonstrate the abilities of a camera and lens I'm about to list on eBay. On that basis, it absolutely meets the blip criteria of a snap of something I was doing today but it still feels like a cop out.
