Time

Time moves on, tides come and go but the supports for Brighton Pier have survived since 1899.

Today was a poor day weather-wise so after work I took a stroll along the seafront until I reached the pier and some blipsperation.

The tide was out, allowing for exploration of the pier supports, built over 113 years ago and still going strong. An enduring example of the industrious Victorian age. Somehow I doubt the London Eye will be around in 100 years time.
