Expensive bouquets for Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day in our house is rather low key. I certainly have not received one of these extravagant bouquets, snapped outside one of the posh florists in Bruntsfield. However, two cards and one box of chocolates were exchanged.

I accompanied Beth on campus today to introduce her to the team that is making the podcast series for our P2P project. While she spent a few hours in the studio working on recordings, I laboured in my office. The highlight of the day came at lunchtime when I ate my sandwiches with Bruce and four PhD students: Marianne, Katherine, Rachel, and John. What a thrill!
