Dictionaries

Since there are very few of us who speak Swedish in the world, it is mandatory to read English in school from the age of 8-9. At the age of thirteen, it is added to read a second foreign language, either German, Spanish or French. Hence, dictionaries are necessary and there are in a large number in our home, in the photo a few of them. Although neither I nor my husband have studied all the languages we have dictionaries for, it is more of curiosity and necessity for travels abroad. Nowadays, translation services are available on the internet so the dictionaries are perhaps about to disappear. What do I know? But so far, they have been a necessity in the art of communicating.
