Such commotion.

The streets of Bo'ness were today crowded with lorries and security people. I had to enquire of someone in the crowd as to what was going on.

"They're makin' a film wi David Tennant." he said.
"Who?" I asked.
"Aye, the Doctor." he replied.
"Doctor who?" I asked.
"Aye, Doctor Who." 

This conversation was like cross threading a nut but before I could make my exit a little old lady came up to us and said "It's going to be on 'the amazon'.

Down the lane to the left of the cinema tucked around the back was the film unit's catering van, a few of the security crew clad in high-vis were collecting butties and coffee. A cunning plan - back to the car to put on my high-vis jacket and score a free burger and a tea!

The cinema is the oldest commercial cinema in the country and has wonderful deco styling. The interior is faithful to the 1912 original.
