A lovely little patch of blue in John's garden, just managed to catch it in the sunshine. The patches of sunshine were few and far between!

Made an excellent puy lentil and mushroom soup for lunch. Nigel Slater says it's earthy and a meal in a bowl and it certainly was! Perfect for a sleety, wintry day!
