Drookit and sookit.....

Another one of those days. The rain started about 8.30am and it had never let up since. Still tipping down at 9 pm. That was nearly an inch when I emptied the rain gauge tonight.
Cattle fed and feed bagged up ready for the morning then made a half hearted start to building some lambing pens in the shed. We don’t start for another month, but February always flies by.
Someone here to see about the night lambing job , so hopefully that’s another worry sorted.
The cow that calved on Wednesday is still having to be put in the crush and the calf fed. I’ve now got him sucking 2 teats out of the 4, so getting there slowly.
This is another one that calved yesterday getting a feed to get it going.
By tonight it had worked out how to suck the cow, so fingers crossed.
