Mother and Child

This statue belonged to my friend's mother.  She recently passed and my friend is planning to create a memory book that includes reproductions of a number of prayers and prayer cards that her Mom had collected as well as some photographs of some of the religious art that was in the house.  I took a lot of photos today. This statue was one of our faves when we started looking through the images.  

Since I'm late getting this into my journal I can report that the prayer book recreation is going very well and we should soon have all of the images she needs to move forward with getting it printed.
