Roasted Celeriac Soup and Earl Grey Tea....

....both lovely, but not a good combination when consumed together!

Lovely walk this morning round Pickmere Lake - but doesn't it look like the end of a terribly dry summer?? Now, don't curse me, but I reckon it is time for some decent rain!!

After my walk I went and met a couple of friends in our favourite deli in Lymm for Lunch. Roasted Celeriac soup was right up my street and very lovely. I had ordered tea and was promptly served.... Earl Grey. I do like Earl Grey, but it felt wrong with the soup. When I got home my aching stomach confirmed that the combination is definitely not right.

Had a lovely catch up though.... I could really get used to the lifestyle of morning walks , lady who lunch and all that..... although, deep down I know I would be bored and definitely not have the funds to support such a lifestyle
