On the Tiles?

Not quite the time on the tiles I had in my head. We had found some old roof tiles in the garden a few years ago. Plan was to use them in our renovations/repairs. Some have been used, but not as fast as intended. Trouble was, they had been stored in the garden against wood cut down and weathering for the wood burner. Now, the wood needs to go undercover to dry and then used next winter. So, time to move the tiles.
I moved each one, individually, brushing, removing spiders (lots), then placing in a wheelbarrow. By my estimate, there was an average of one big spider under every tile. They were then moved to the new spot by the wood shed and each tile unloaded from the wheelbarrow individually to stack safely. There were 1,120 tiles. So, as each one was loaded, then unloaded and stacked, I moved 2,240 tiles.
Mrs SoL had a very large G&T waiting for me.
I Needed it. I ache.
As a post note. The chickens LOVED all the spiders and grubs I uncovered. Happy girls.
