Last Mural

The last big mural that we came across this trip, this time in a Bergen backstreet. I have to say that some of them have been terrific and are a happy surprise when you come across them.
We’re in Schiphol just now waiting on the Edinburgh flight. Time for a mild rant: the departures board directs all UK bound passengers to gate D8. To get there from gate 87 we had to go through passport control, fair enough. So what’s at gate D8? Well bugger me if it’s not another passport control. ‘Huh?’ says I to be met with a weary shrug and ‘The UK have asked us to do this.’ response as the poor guy wrote the actual departure gate on our boarding cards. D57. What f***wit thought this one up? A ‘let’s take back control’ complete numpty no doubt. Really, these folk should be taken to Schiphol themselves and left there. There’s plenty seating spare at D8.
