Birthday Present…..

…..not mine, but my son’s.
I’ve been following this new trendy watchmaking company for a while now, and couldn’t resist buying a mechanical British-design watch for my Design Technology teacher son!
The company is called Marloe Watches, now based in Kinross, and this is the Bonneville Watch, based on the speedometer of Sir Malcolm Campbell’s Bluebird which broke the land speed record in 1935 at 301mph, so only that number have been made! I chose 288 as my son was born in February 1988.
