Old wood

A beautiful day on the island! I had a great walk down Xwaaqw'um. There were so many cars parked along the road and in the parking lot that I expected to meet lots of people on the trails, but fortunately I only passed three people and one dog. There was even some warmth in the sun to balance the chill in the air. It was very frosty this morning. I was surprised to see frost down at the beach, not something we see very often.
