Flood

Today's game was Tynecastle v Musselburgh Athletic at Meggetland Arena. The first half was pretty windy, but dry & bright. However the rain in the scond half was biblical - never has the term floodlight been so appropriate.

This was my first time at Meggetland, and although the facility is nice & modern, the staff weren't exactly helpful. I visit a lot of lower league grounds, and the welcome is almost universally warm - I knew sooner or later I'd meet the exception and it came as no surprise to find it in Edinburgh.

On the park, it was an enjoyable game that finished in a 3-3 draw.
