Charge!

After our great night we all slept late. Apart from the boys who got themselves up and breakfasted then stuck in to computer games.

Some of us (i.e. #3 daughter who stayed up with me till 2am asking about family history and the WW1 Conscience Objector - suppositions about where he got his ideas when he was obliged to leave school young yet felt it wrong that working men in Germany and Britain were sent off to kill each other).

#2 daughter, Mr C and I took the boys to play in Marsden Quarry. Thomas got sticks to fish rubbish out of the pond and put it on a bin. James told me that if he were King he’d demand the government give poor people enough money to buy food. The blip is him charging towards a monster tree.

#3 daughter eventually felt ready to go home. She remarked on Facebook that with a weekend with no children what was the result? A big hangover, but thanks to mum and dad for a fun time. I hope she’s ok to go out with Luke tonight!
