Miller Ground

We drove to Grasmere for lunch with my ex-husband and his  partner.  It was really good to see them and we had a nice time catching up.  They are here for the weekend and it is a pity that the forecast is so wet.  When we parted they were off to buy more wet weather gear!

We drove home and stopped at Miller Ground for a blip.  My thought process was that I wouldn't get too wet being under the trees.  Well it was raining so heavily that I returned to the car soaked after only a few minutes.

Coffee and cake at Harry's Bar on the way home.  The cafe is closing for refurbishment for a couple of weeks and their plans for the future sound exciting.
