A friend's grandson was playing rugby for his home town today in Barnstaple so I went to watch the game.  It was damp and by half time I was very chilly so left to come home and watch the international game! South Molton were being trounced by Barnstaple when I left. It was fun seeing the youngsters playing - took me back 25 odd years to when Simon, my son, used to play for Barnstaple colts too. I'd have sat out the whole match in those days, whatever the weather. Must be feeling may age!
