Blowy

A lovely bright day . . . but so windy. A great day for watching waves. Quite a few people were battling with the wind to walk by the sea and then some kite surfers set out. I wandered down this afternoon (escaping the Rugby) and walked along the prom. It was hard work walking in the wind, but good to sit and watch waves. 

In the picture you can see two of the surfers in the water - the perspective is strange as the pebble beach has a steep shelf, so the surfers are below the couple. How they stayed upright in the waves and that wind I don't know. (The white 'splodge' is a gull being blown about.) 

The surfers did not last long - I think it was even too windy for them!
