Gitama's World

The Humble Geranium

I decided to crack out one of the bigger cameras today with a macro lens...just for a bit of a play.....and of course I had to explore  the end product with a few filters....just cant seem to help myself.

After searching the garden to find something to play with all I could come up with was this humble geranium (awesome red though) a funny lily thing that is growing through the fence from next door and a rose that shed its petals carrying it to the house...slip pickins indeed.

I phoned Jaiya at work (in the flower shop) to bring me home some blooms....they will have to be snapped tomorrow.

I have the boy tomorrow ...just him and I....I know he would rather be with his friends (gone are the days of wanting just to hang with nanny....I was expecting it) but I have a few things planned.

Life is good and today I had a little play in my watercolour journal which is always wonderful.....I just love colour and I am very happy with the watercolours I made from pigments I bought just before christmas.....very Australian bush colours..love em.
