I was planning on a decorating morning but the district nurse called me to say that Jean had no heating or hot water and was cold, ( she wrapped a blanket around her).
I got footed over whist phoning to report the fault. Jean was indeed cold so I made her a hot water bottle which helped, and then soup for lunch. I tinkered with the boiler and managed to get it to fire up. I didn’t cancel the call out though as obviously something is wrong. I did the usual Monday sheet washing etc.
Then home but wasn’t in the mood for more decorating so called to see L and S and little Lyra for chats and games. Lyra is getting less bitey.
