Mixed Day!

This morning I felt really low, I hadn’t slept well and everything crowded in my mind. This afternoon we attended a wonderful celebratory funeral for a special lady I’d know over 50 years. It lifted my mood and the singing was amazing as was the tribute! I couldn’t sing as voice is just coming back. This lady was a wonderful Christian. She’d never married, was perceived to be different because of her looks and speech but boy was she a true gentle, kind and lovely lady. She loved Barbies and kept them in their boxes. Last year she gave me one and I’ll treasure it! She was loved by so many! She was not expected to live long when she was born. Last year she was 80! Rest in peace dear Sylvia. We loved you!!
