Thirty years of motoring

Still sorting out items to go back into my utility room and came across old number plate.   6 different cars during this period have had this number.   Its easier than trying to remember different numbers.   It's meaning =  husband called me his No1 (A1) he got it for my 30th birthday (30) and finally my initials (AL).   
The shame is that garages will not reuse them  even though 3 of the Cars were bought from the same garage.
