The Chief

I had to go to Northallerton today so that I could shop in Lakeland and also put some money in the bank.  It was a very cold morning, zero degC when we left home, but the sun was shining and the sky was blue.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this young lady in front of us as we waited to cross the road. I guess the feathered head-dress was keeping her ears warm!
