The birds!

What a gorgeous light there was today here!

I headed out at lunchtime to the sheltered walk in the valley of Quarrymill. I had a notion the kingfisher might be out (had never seen it!) so took the big camera. And it was there! Perched on a branch, I tried to get a few shots. Not very clear but there’s one in extras to prove I saw it!. However I liked this duck who was calmly swimming around in front of me so chose him for my blip! His green head was so iridescent in the light , also saw robin, crow, tree creeper and various tits! A couple of other pics in extras.

Tonight tried Clubbercise which involved glow sticks and lots of dancing. Fun fun fun.
