A different sort of pool...

My swimming buddies and I like to try something new, so today we went to the Carlisle Turkish Baths, one of only 12 Turkish baths remaining in the whole of the UK.  "A rare opportunity to enjoy a Victorian Turkish Bath with its original plunge pool and hot rooms, and modern sauna and steam room" - and all for the grand price of £7.10.  No frills or extra treatments, not even a coffee machine, but definitely recommended - try it soon as the future of the baths is in doubt and they may close permanently  from early May.
