Race for the light

These mixed bulbs are all shooting up despite the cold weather as our days noticeably lengthen. Didn't think we'd be seeing the tulips (wider pairs of leaves) yet; hope they don't grow too fast and shade out the little crocuses and grape hyacinths.

Inside, we've got some baby salad seedlings that are just emerging, and I'm hoping we'll see the chillies and very late sweet peas soon.
