Eskdale Valley

Perfect walking weather - cold, crisp, blue sky and no rain. A lovely 12km circuit up to Blea Tarn, along the ridge then down to the tiny village of Boot and home along the Esk.

A great day, breathtaking views but I lost my favourite purple walking hat … planning to walk to the Boot Inn on Friday so will retrace our steps along the Esk, fingers crossed.
