These hellebores are a gorgeous deep purple colour and flower fantastically (when the mice don't eat the buds) every year.

The day didn't start quite as planned, a puncture which I hadn't noticed when driving off meant turning round and driving back up the drive to level ground so that I could put the spare on. After that all was well.

Lots of Apple tree work today then a nice meal with RF this evening.
