Wednesday: Lit Up

I was up and at my desk pretty early but made some good headway today.  We were doing a few recruitment interviews this morning, one of which was beset by technical difficulties on the part of the candidate.  I really felt for her.  That said, she was so nervous that we did half wonder whether she’d pulled the plug voluntarily.

My colleague, Raquel, and her husband, Brian, had us over for dinner tonight which was lovely.  Raquel cooked the most amazing vegan beef Wellington (with Beyond Meat).  It was superb and very full of flavour.

The house opposite, on Barclay Street, looked very attractive lit up.  Very selfishly, though, the wooden beam spoils it a bit.  On behalf of all blippers I think they should remove it.
