Painting the garage roof

Two young lads who work for the painter we know, are working on the exterior of the garage. This morning they asked to use the leaf blower to clear the leaves which fell between when they swept the roof clear yesterday and this morning. Then the sat and are applying an undercoat.

This afternoon, I removed the dressing from my forehead and went for a walk. On that walk, I saw mainly sparrows. The one Kereru I saw also saw me and didn't wait around to find that I am harmless. The extra is a quickly taken photo of a sparrow leaving its sunny spot and heading into the shadows under the trees.
