Beth, the Pelican Lady

I got there just as Beth was finishing up her "rounds." She gets baitfish from inside the fish company, and the big birds know that she is going to distribute it.

She draws them in, and looks for injured birds. She tosses the fish in the air, and then tries to net the hurt ones.

I don't think she had any patients today. It is always fun to see her work. I do have her e-mail address, and usually send her my pictures.
