A day of firsts

Today was the day. I took part in my first panel as a Bishops Adviser on vocations today. It was a full day on zoom. So, I had conversations with seven candidates over the course of the day. Advisers then finished with a moderation meeting. I was really nervous this morning but had to hide that and try and put the candidates at ease. It was really interesting though, listening to all their thoughts and experiences. I was exhausted by the end though.

This evening was another step towards normality as I went with a friend to the cinema at Edge Hill to see 007 "No Time to Die" It was odd being back in that environment after all this time.
