Arrival into the states wasn't the smoothest experience. Delays to flights, 2 hours at customs and bags not turning up all meant that it was a think on your feet change your plans kind of day.

Despite it all, the investors dinner at night went really well, has brought in some great connections, donors and potential placements. I spoke about my experience and met some great people, interesting to see the tech community out here, very advanced- Boston was mostly start ups.

Plus got to catch up with my old lecturer Les Charm who was a surprise guest and meet one of the other scholars, Kyle White, who had flown over from Washington. Ended the day slightly dazed, feeling like I've landed in a parallel universe and with no idea what day of the week it is!
