Renaissance Craftsmanship

There are 408 carved oak roof panels from 1470 and a large area of blue painted Tudor roof panels with carved painted bosses from 1501 on the ceiling of St Peter's church in Ruthin. It's not until I photograph them that I can see the extraordinary detail and here viewed are just a small amount.
