The Omicron virus is out there, even in school. I am a happy person because it has not been able to find me. Last week I was substitute for the teacher in third grade, children who once were the toddlers when Iworked in kindergarten. They are so grown now!
This experience made me overthink my job. At our special primary school it is always chaotic and full of small and even some bigger incidents. Sometimes we don't even get to teaching. I've had a lot of quiet and regular days at the ordinary school.

At night Bert and I went for a walk. We used to walk more often in the evenings when we still lived in Maastricht. I must say that I think it is a shame that we did not spot deer, foxes or badgers in the dark.
