Lone Birch
We went to Lenzie today and walked around the Lenzie Moss nature reserve. It’s a raised bog which used to have a peat extraction industry. This has stopped and the Moss is being made wetter again with the drainage ditches blocked off. It’s not very large but the views are good and it is now very wet in places. The blip is of a Silver Birch catching the sun with the Campsie Fells & Kilsyth Hills in the background. The extra is of the wet area in the north of the reserve.
Best on black.
Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is tree reflections.
