On the wall...

Tired today after a disturbed night's sleep. No weather warnings for last night, but the wind was ferocious and kept us awake. The local electricity supply is evidently still a bit 'wobbly' after the last storm, and there were several short power cuts through the night. Each time the power came back on it was accompanied by the sound of our electronic door  bell, and a couple of shop alarms! 

More work on the bedroom curtains this morning; they're ready to hem tomorrow.

On my way out of the gate this afternoon bumped - literally - into John C, who was coming in. Dashed to the Good Life Shop for porridge and marmalade, and then came back to join MrM and John for a cup of tea and a chat. Spotted this aubretia on a short walk down to the river later in the afternoon - seems a little early in the year for it to be flowering.
