snowdrops

Work, weekly shop and walk - all before dark...the days are definitely lengthening.The snowdrop flowers were still open when I set off on my walk just before 4.30, but an hour later they had all closed up for the night. The daffodils are already beginning to shoot up in-between them.

I slept so well on the new mattress last night that when the alarm went off this morning, I turned it off and went back to that land of Nod again, and overslept. I only had half an hour before leaving the house! 

I listened to this album on the way home and several times laughed out loud :-)

Now we are about to enjoy Sarah's pasta bake before finishing our viewing of Moonrise Kingdom. I've seen it several times but this is D's first viewing and it's always a gamble getting other people to watch your favourite films.
