Farewell

Leaving this beautiful spot today and heading home. A long 12 hour journey which is a bit daunting but in the end, worth it. Dad is very happy and in a lovely situation. His badly injured shoulder has certainly taken its toll on him this winter. He is trying to be cheerful but very aware of his mortality. Maybe should have been for years you say. He is 96 but I don’t think he felt it til now. A harsh winter and cooped up indoors to heal.
