Ilford Hall High School Music Success

We are using various resources to pull together content for our Lorna Lloyd war diary podcast series. One is the British Newspaper Archive. As well as using this as a source of press coverage of the events that Lorna mentions in her war diary entries, we can also search the database to discover more about Lorna herself.

Today we discovered that in early 1925 the Eastern Counties Times reported that Lorna was one of a number Ilford Hall High School pupils who had recently passed the Associated Board of RAM and RCM elementary music exam.
