Let me tell you about my friend, TPHP.

I wanted to post a picture of her I took as we walked along the river, somehow that seems a bit sketchy. You know, advertising the features of your friends and naming them. We strolled along the Thames and landed in a pub and drank and ate and spoke.

You'd think I'd have learned more from her by now, if I had been paying attention. When life beats her up she says, 'Life beats you up sometimes.' When things don't go her way she says, 'Come on, things don't go your way sometimes,' and she just keeps on. When she's lonely you wouldn't even know.

I want to channel her, and be like her, and she wants to be more like me. Indignant, loud, insistent, unrepentant.
At the car boot sale, I'd give it all to her for free.
