Chinese New Year A day late
Some oriental cooking at youth club this evening. We explained that although we all use the term Chinese New Year, the event does in fact get celebrated in other countries in Asia and is collectively known as Lunar New Year.
So Vietnamese food was on our menu. We started by with Crystal Rolls followed by Pho (Beef noodle soup). I firmly believe that if young people help to cook it, they are more likely to eat at least some of it. This evening was no exception. The Crystal Rolls were more popular than the Pho, but everyone had a taste and actually liked it. Result.
